Does the 2021 Mazda CX-5 come with Wi-Fi?
Most of the changes that will be found with the 2021 Mazda CX-5 will be centered around the connectivity technology available to owners of the vehicle. For the new model year, the entry-level trim, Sport, will now be available with a 10.25-inch touchscreen that will control the latest generation of the Mazda Connect infotainment system.
This also means that a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Sport will have access to both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications.
The real story to the changes made to the 2021 Mazda CX-5 is that it will help drivers and passengers connect to the outside world in a whole new way. Each 2021 Mazda CX-5 trim grade will be equipped with an in-vehicle 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, provided by AT&T.
We don’t have a lot of details about this system just yet, but other automakers using this technology have made it possible for several devices to use the hotspot simultaneously.
2021 Mazda CX-5 Performance Specs
Mazda isn’t making any major changes to the powertrain for the 2021 Mazda CX-5. All trims will still use either a naturally aspirated or turbocharged version of the SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that will be attached to a six-speed automatic transmission.
