All 2019 Mazda3 models are powered by the 2.5-liter four-cylinder SKYACTIV®-G engine. This engine produces 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The base engines powering the 2019 Civic and 2019 Elantra produce 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque and 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque, respectively.
For the new model year, the 2019 Mazda3 will offer the i-ACTIV® All-Wheel Drive system. The 2019 Civic and 2019 Elantra are only available with front-wheel drive.
The 2019 Mazda3 can be equipped with the i-ACTIVSENSE® suite of driver assistance systems. This suite includes Driver Attention Alert, Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Smart City Brake Support and Mazda Radar Cruise Control.
