How does the Mazda Wi-Fi hotspot work?

While the connectivity provided by those devices will work for a large number of people, it might not be enough for road warriors who use their vehicles as an office on wheels. The high-speed 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot that is a component of Mazda Connected Services™ and it is provided by Verizon Wireless. Each 2021 Mazda CX-5 will come with a 2-gigabyte or six-month (whichever comes first) trial data package.

In fact, if someone is already an existing Verizon customer, they may be able to combine their vehicle’s data package with their regular account. Please speak to an authorized Verizon agent for more information.

What else can Mazda Connected Services™ do?

The manufacturer’s suite of technology will be able to automatically call 911 in the event of an emergency as well as roadside assistance.
